Smule sammen mel,
smør, sukker og eggeplommer til en fin deig. Avkjøl. Kjevle ut og legg i en pai
form. Stek med papir og bønner eller ris først, og noe minutter uten papir,
bønner eller ris til gylden.
Ha gresskar blandingen i pai bunn og stek 25 minutter på 180
grader. Servere med pisket krem, hakket valnøtter og dryss med honning.
Og siden jeg har begrenset internett for tiden, du få to
oppskrifter i dag.
Først kutt gresskar i stor biter. Behold huden. Stek i ovn,
dekket med aluminiumsfolie på 180 grader ca 90 minutter til myk. Avkjøl, skrape
ut kjøtt og mos med gaffel. Du trenger 1, 5 dl mos. Vekke tørr gjær i varmt
vann med honning. Jeg har brukt hvetemel, sammalt, solsikkerfrø og sesamfrø
sammen med gresskar i deigen. Deigen var penslet med egg og drysset med
gresskår frø og valmuefrø før baking ca 40 minutter på ca 180 grader.
Frøene var kastet tilbake i komposten og jeg venter med
spenning for neste tomming av komposten neste vår. Happy Halloween.

Regardless, it is a tradition that has invaded Norway and is here to stay. Personally,
I have been looking forward to this time of year, the blog entries, and all the
good pumpkin recipes I have been saving. From my experience, Norwegians are not
familiar with pumpkin as a vegetable, and what it can be done with it. In sort,
pumpkin is just like a potato and can be used for everything. However, before I
begin with the actual recipes, I have saved a funny but true story I want to
share with you.
Once apon a time, an energetic housewife and
hobby gardener in Hjellestad, Bergen, was emptying her household compost bin,
late in the spring. Amongst all the compost and dirt, she found some small
green sprouts. They could have either been zucchini or pumpkin. It was not easy
to see the difference in the leaves or the seeds. As curious as she was, and as
the vegetable beds were already prepared for planting, she decided to put the
sprouts into the earth, and to see what would happen. Day after day, the plants
grew bigger and bigger, probably helped from nature and the wonderful summer we
have experienced in Bergen. The plants grew outside of the bed and with monster
spider looking arms, they grew over half of the lawn too. They were lovely to
look at, with beautiful deep yellow flowers, some that were picked, stuffed,
fried and eaten. After a while, the treasure, several pumpkins were visible
among the large leaves. Day after day, the pumpkins also grew bigger and
bigger, and one after the other, they changed colour to a deep yellow, were cut
loose and carried a few metres into the kitchen. Read further on what happened

Since I have limited internet at the moment,
you get two recipes today.
First cut the pumpkin in large pieces, keeping
the skin. Bake in the oven covered in aluminium foil with 180 degrees for 90
minutes. Cool. Skrape out the pumpkin and mash with a folk. You will need 1,5
dl mash. Activate the yeast in warm water with honey. I used regular flour,
wholemeal flour, sun flower seeds, sesame seeds together with the pumpkin in
the doe. The doe was brushed with egg and spread with pumpkin seeds, before
baking for 40 minutes at 180 degrees celcius.
